About Rascon Solar Farm
The 55 MW Rascon Solar Farm is located in Lleida and is the second plant built by Ethical Power in Spain.
Ethical Power was selected by project owners Ignis for full EPC services and will carry out all operation and maintenance work for a minimum of two years following energisation.

Rascon Solar Farm also utilises agrivoltaics, with around 1000 sheep using the site for grazing. This dual land use allows Rascon Solar Farm to support both energy and food production.
Biodiversity at Rascon Solar Farm
Rascon Solar Farm incorporates a range of biodiversity measures designed to support local wildlife and enhance habitat value.
Protective fencing has been installed to manage site access, alongside four raptor perches to encourage birds of prey and maintain natural pest control. Dedicated refuges for reptiles have also been created, including four lizard shelters.
In addition, nesting boxes have been installed to support different species, including bats, owls, kestrels, and the protected European roller.
The site has also undergone significant ecological planting, with over 6,300 native trees and shrubs, such as mastic, kermes oak, and Aleppo pine, introduced to restore the local habitat and promote long-term biodiversity.
